replication and fabrication

"I would have used NASA to reconstruct the interiors, but the folks at SpaceWorks could make it look more authentic."
   — Ron Howard, Director of Apollo 13

From machining to painting to mold-making, the Cosmosphere’s SpaceWorks craftsmen are able to reproduce space-related relics on-site with materials and hardware that closely resemble the originals used in production – all while maintaining the highest level of historic authenticity.

SpaceWorks craftsmen build replica space hardware and construct exhibitry for new and expanding museums all over the world. Relying on experience gained since the mid-1980’s and access to original blue prints and line diagrams, Cosmosphere craftsmen are able to create replications that achieve the very high level of fidelity organizations require for their exhibits.

SpaceWorks fabricated all the spacecraft interiors for the movie Apollo 13.
