It’s an overnight adventure full of activities that introduce girls to astronomy and enable them to earn their Space Explorer Try-It Badge. Girls enjoy an array of hands-on activities, including making liquid oxygen ice cream, and more. Dinner and breakfast included.

Join us for 2 hours at the Cosmosphere where you will see a special presentation of “Dr. Goddard’s Lab” and do a scavenger hunt in the “Hall of Space” Museum. You will also receive a discount coupon for a future visit. Pop and a sliced of pizza included.

Hands-on activities held throughout the Cosmosphere will keep the troops' energy level high as they spend the day earning their Science Sleuth Badge. Girl Scouts will make a kaleidoscope and robots, while learning about sound and vibration, oxidation, the light spectrum, and other related topics in this exciting program that includes an IMAX® feature, Dr. Goddard’s Lab, Planetarium, and the Hall of Space Museum.

This program is centered around teaching young women about astronomy and spaceflight. The Girls Night Out Overnight is a jam-packed experience filled with hands-on activities, rocketry, robotics, and astronaut training simulators! Simulator use is based on availability and can include the 4-G centrifuge, stress testing, Apollo command module, Soyuz trainer, and rescue ball. Each student earns the Sky Search and the Aerospace badges. Dinner and breakfast are included.

The future of Space Exploration rests in the hands of our young explorers. Girls will take the initiative in educating themselves about the next step in space exploration and will tour the Cosmosphere’s world-renowned Hall of Space Museum, discover careers in the space exploration industry, and learn about living in space.
