The Future Astronaut Training Program at the Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center isn't just a camp. It's an incredible week of hands-on, high-flying activities developed from actual NASA astronaut training.
Entering its 23rd year, the Future Astronaut Training Program has developed a reputation as one of the premier space training programs in the country. There is no secret to our success. In fact, it's quite simple- provide an action-packed five-day learning environment, giving every student the individual attention they deserve with the opportunity to do everything.
Open to all students entering grades 7, 8, 9 or 10, the Future Astronaut Training Program is a five-day, all inclusive summer experience with non-stop activity including spaceflight simulations, shuttle crew exercises, virtual spacewalks on the Manned Maneuvering Unit, g-force training in a centrifuge, rocket building, plus much, much more.

Future Astronaut Training Program
Each session limited to 30 campers. Tuition: $650; includes room, board and everything each camper needs to enjoy their week including a lot of extras to take home. Transportation between Wichita Mid-Continent Airport and the Cosmosphere available for a fee.
