Explore Hutch is a monthly event sponsored by the Growth Coalition to learn more about the community through visiting various locations and getting a behind-the-scenes look.
The Cosmosphere will host the event Friday, February 12, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $15, half-price for Cosmosphere members, and includes snacks, beer and wine, and an evening of experiences you don't get with the normal Cosmosphere admission.
The Hutchinson Art Association will be sharing pieces from its collection, and harpist Elaina Orwoll will entertain. Those attending will be treated to "Living in Space," a presentation by the education staff about some of the challenges of being in space for extended periods of time. Participants will also get a behind-the-scenes tour of the camp facilities, as well as an area that will become a new museum exhibit space.
