For students entering grades 7-10+, the Cosmosphere offers the ultimate experience.
Kansas Adventures in Outer Space (KAOS) at The Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center is not just a camp. It's an experience. Developed from authentic NASA training, KAOS motivates campers to seek careers in space-related industries by emphasizing the importance of teamwork, leadership and problem solving.
Campers train in the Cosmosphere’s advanced simulators - the Falcon III spacecraft simulator, 4-G centrifuge, multi-axis trainer, Soyuz trainer and stress simulator. They also build and launch rockets, tour the Hall of Space Museum and explore the night sky. Advanced campers perform underwater scuba exercises, conduct ropes course team training and travel to Johnson Space Center in Houston, Kennedy Space Center in Florida and multiple space centers in California. Learn, grow, and make life-long friendships.
KAOS is an internationally-recognized camp that combines space science education with exciting NASA-training activities.
