students who have completed FATP levels 1, 2 and 3
Location: Kennedy Space Center (Florida)
Travel to Kennedy Space Center, Florida, for an in-depth tour of America's spaceport
Experience various hands-on activities developed by Space Florida
Build a payload for a weather balloon and launch it
Extra Credit: visit Florida's Cocoa Beach
Tuition is $1895* and includes airfare to Kennedy Space Center. Transportation between Wichita Mid-Continent Airport and the Cosmosphere is available for a fee. Levels 1, 2 and 3 are prerequisites for this program. *Due to travel costs this price may increase. Final tuition will be set by March 1, 2009.
