Future Astronaut Training Program

FATP 3.0
6-Day Residential Camp
For students entering Grade 9+ and who have completed FATP 2.0
Location: Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center & Johnson Space Center (Houston)

  • Travel to Johnson Space Center, Houston, for an exclusive on-site tour of NASA’s training facilities and Mission Control
  • Learn about the many career opportunities available at NASA
  • Fly the most advanced shuttle mission available in the Space Shuttle simulator Falcon
  • Complete intense advanced training on camp simulators: stress simulator, centrifuge, multi-axis trainer and Mission Control

Tuition is $895 and includes travel to Johnson Space Center. Transportation between Wichita Mid-Continent Airport and the Cosmosphere is available for a fee. FATP 1.0 and 2.0 are prerequisites for this program and the student must be entering at least 9th grade.
